ILM Certificate in Management

Designed for
Existing or potential Supervisors and Management. Particularly those delegates who have obtained the ILM Management Introductory Award.
Objectives
To impart a sound knowledge of the principles of supervisory and management practices and to help supervisors and managers to practice these principles in their work.
Course Content
The programme, which represents 240 hours of study delivered over 18 months, has adopted a hybrid approach encompassing workshops, open learning units, related tutorials on-line support and work-based assignments. The four modules are:
  • Managing People
  • Managing Resources
  • Managing Activities
  • Managing Information.
Successful completion of these modules along with an integrated assessment and a Work based Management Project will lead to the award of the ILM Certificate in Management.
